The Ideal Candidate The Talent Acquisition Recruiter is a hands-on recruiting professional responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment and developing effective talent acquisition strategies for assigned departments and programs across Project HOME. This role serves as a trusted partner to hiring managers and leaders, providing recruiting expertise from intake and sourcing through candidate assessment, selection, offer, and onboarding. The ideal candidate is a resourceful problem-solver and thought partner who builds strong relationships with hiring managers and colleagues, collaborates effectively with their supervisor and team, and looks for ways to strengthen the recruiting function. The successful candidate brings strong recruiting expertise, exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, sound judgment, and a high level of ownership and accountability . They independently manage multiple searches, proactively address recruiting challenges, leverage creative sourcing strategies, maintain accurate ATS activity, and deliver a consistent, high-quality candidate experience.

- Hybrid Schedule: 3 days onsite/2 days remote after 90 days of employment based on business needs
- Salary Range: $63,031$ - 74,154 / yearly (based on education & experience)

- Independently manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions, from requisition intake and sourcing through screening, interviewing, selection, offer, and disposition.
- Develop and execute creative, targeted sourcing strategies to attract well-qualified and diverse talent, particularly for difficult-to-fill positions.
- Build and maintain active and future talent pipelines aligned with current and anticipated workforce needs.
- Assess candidates for qualifications, organizational fit, motivation, and alignment with Project HOME's mission and values.
- Maintain ownership and momentum throughout each search, ensuring timely follow-through, communication, and progress from intake through successful placement.
- Establish and maintain trusted, consultative relationships with hiring managers and executive leaders to understand department and program needs within the context of Project HOME's mission, culture, and workforce priorities.
- Lead effective intake conversations that clarify role requirements, hiring priorities, market conditions, candidate profiles, timelines, and recruitment strategies.
- Provide informed guidance and recommendations to hiring managers throughout the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing strategy, candidate availability, market considerations, and selection decisions.
- Serve as a thought partner to hiring managers, constructively challenging assumptions and helping leaders make informed, equitable, and effective hiring decisions.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with Talent Acquisition colleagues, HR partners, leadership, and the immediate supervisor to ensure alignment, consistency, and shared accountability.
- Independently manage assigned requisitions within the Applicant Tracking System, ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent candidate activity, dispositioning, documentation, and data integrity.
- Utilize recruiting technology, reporting, and analytics to monitor searches, identify trends, evaluate effectiveness, and recommend improvements.
- Ensure recruiting practices and processes are consistently followed and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, workflow, accuracy, and candidate experience.
- Maintain organized and accurate recruitment records and ensure appropriate follow-through on all candidate and stakeholder commitments.
- Deliver a responsive, professional, respectful, and engaging candidate experience throughout every stage of the recruitment process.
- Maintain proactive and consistent communication with candidates, hiring managers, leadership, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Represent Project HOME's mission, culture, values, and employment opportunities authentically and effectively in all candidate and community interactions.
- Ensure candidates receive timely communication and a clear understanding of the recruitment process, role expectations, and next steps.
- Continuous Improvement & Talent Acquisition Initiatives
- Identify opportunities to strengthen recruiting practices, improve processes, expand sourcing channels, and enhance the overall effectiveness of Talent Acquisition.
- Take initiative to identify challenges and opportunities and develop creative, practical solutions without waiting to be directed.
- Participate in career fairs, community partnerships, recruiting events, and other initiatives designed to expand Project HOME's talent reach and strengthen its employer brand.
- Stay current on recruiting trends, sourcing practices, technology, and market conditions and apply relevant insights to Project HOME's recruitment efforts.
- Contribute to broader Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives that strengthen the team's effectiveness and capacity.
- Minimum of 5 years of substantive Recruiting/Talent Acquisition experience, with demonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruitment.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple concurrent searches, competing priorities, and changing hiring needs while maintaining accuracy, momentum, and follow-through.
- Strong experience partnering directly with hiring managers and leaders throughout the recruitment process, with the ability to establish credibility, build trust, provide counsel, and influence hiring decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective sourcing strategies, including identifying and engaging qualified candidates through multiple channels.
- Strong proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting technology, including the ability to independently manage requisitions, candidate dispositioning, workflows, documentation, reporting, and data integrity.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, confidently, professionally, and effectively with candidates, hiring managers, leadership, colleagues, vendors, and community partners.
- Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and follow-through, with a track record of keeping commitments, closing communication loops, and ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong systems and practices for managing multiple searches, deadlines, stakeholder relationships, and day-to-day responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented, taking initiative and identifying opportunities or challenges without waiting to be directed.
- Ability to think critically, exercise sound judgment, navigate ambiguity, and adapt recruiting strategies based on changing organizational or market needs.

- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, organizational development, or a related field, or equivalent direct work-related experience.
- Experience recruiting within a nonprofit, social services, behavioral health, affordable housing, healthcare, education, or other mission-driven environment.
- Advanced proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies, including requisition management, candidate dispositioning, compliance reporting, and recruiting analytics (such as, DATIS, UKG, ADP, Workday, iCIMS, Greenhouse, or similar).
- Experience recruiting for difficult-to-fill positions, high-volume environments, or roles requiring creative and nontraditional sourcing strategies.
- Advanced sourcing experience with passive candidate outreach, Boolean search techniques, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, community-based networks, talent communities, and other sourcing approaches.
- Experience using recruiting analytics and metrics to evaluate recruiting effectiveness, identify trends, improve processes, and strengthen hiring outcomes.
- Experience developing or improving recruiting processes, workflows, tools, resources, or systems that increase efficiency, improve candidate experience, or strengthen hiring outcomes.
- Strong proficiency building talent pipelines for both immediate hiring needs and future workforce planning.
- Experience leveraging digital and social media platforms to attract diverse talent and strengthen employer brand.
- Demonstrated experience developing community partnerships, attending career fairs, and creating innovative approaches to expanding diverse talent pools.
- Recruitment/Talent Acquisition Expertise: Deep understanding of full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, candidate assessment, and talent strategy.
