All detailed requirements required to be a Staff Psychiatrist at the VAAAHS have been met and the Staff Psychiatrist is in good standing with the VAAAHS. Required Qualifications* Applicants must hold an M.D. or equivalent degree Be board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry and Neurology Must hold or be eligible for a Michigan medical license. Evidence of clinical competence and competence in clinical and didactic teaching is expected. Superior clinical competencies and master teacher skills are necessary and be an active member in good standing of the University of Michigan Medical Staff.
