DentalWe're looking for a Orthodontic Registered Dental Assistant professional who will work closely with our Dentist.Our commitment is in everything we do.Smile Brands is strongly rooted in encouraging and empowering people to branch out beyond their comfort zones.We believe in individual journeys of personal and professional discovery in an environment where people feel safe, supported, welcomed and seen.Schedule (days/hours): Monday-Saturday 7am-6pmResponsibilitiesAssist the orthodontist during patient procedures and adjustmentsPrepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to OSHA and infection-control standardsTake dental impressions, intraoral scans, X-rays, and patient photographsAssist with bonding and debonding braces and orthodontic appliancesRemove and place archwires, brackets, elastics, and other orthodontic materials as directedEducate patients on oral hygiene, braces care, aligner wear, and post-treatment instructionsFabricate retainers, aligners, and other orthodontic appliances when neededMaintain accurate patient charts and update treatment notesEnsure patient comfort and provide excellent customer service throughout appointmentsSet up and break down treatment areas between patientsAssist with inventory management and stocking suppliesSupport front office duties as needed, including scheduling and patient check-in/check-outFollow HIPAA, OSHA, and office safety protocols at all timesQualificationsCPR or BLSRDA license or OA permitMust have 2 years of ortho experienceWilling to travel with paid mileageCompensation: $26-$27/hrAbout UsBenefits are determined by employment status/hours worked and include paid time off ("PTO"), health, dental, vision, health savings account, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, pet insurance, and a 401k plan.Smile Brands supports over 650 affiliated dental practices across 28 states all focused on a single mission of delivering Smiles For Everyone!® Smiles for patients, providers, employees, and community partners.
