Description Physical Therapy Assistant in Physical Therapy Unit at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour Day Shifts. The staff Physical Therapist Assistant works under the supervision of a registered physical therapist. The Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for direct patient care, family /caregiver training, documentation, and team communication for all assigned patients. Required qualifications: Coursework/Training: Graduate from a 2-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, or, if initially licensed after 2010: Graduate of a CAPTE Program (Commission on Accredited Physical Therapy Education) per Medicare Requirements Ref. 42CFR484.4. California Physical Therapy Assistant License upon hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire Preferred qualifications: 1 year experience in rehabilitation. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
