Chemistry Student Lab Technician - PLV

Description

The PLV Chemistry department is searching for a Student Lab Technician to support the department's Lab Services and Safety Manager

Position Duties/Responsibilities :

Preparation of chemical reagents, supplies, and equipment for lab experiments
Perform routine lab maintenance, including washing glassware
Set up labs for experiments, as well as bringing items such as DI water, gloves, paper towels, and waste containers
Cleaning up labs after the experiments, returning chemicals to the storage location
Updating the inventory
Other duties as needed

Requirements

Student Assistant/Lab Technician should have completed General or Organic Chemistry classes.
Possess basic laboratory skills, including safety rules and regulations.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team along with proper management of time is essential for this position.
Safety training will be provided .
