Role Description The Accounting Associate is a full-time, on-site position based in Southlake, TX. This role is responsible for preparing and maintaining financial records, including posting journal entries, assisting with month-end and year-end close processes, and supporting the preparation of financial statements. The Accounting Associate will reconcile accounts, review transactions for accuracy, and ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant accounting standards. Day-to-day tasks include working with accounting software, supporting budgeting and reporting activities, responding to internal and external inquiries, and collaborating with team members and leadership on special projects and process improvements. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Financial Statements and Finance to support accurate reporting and analysis. Candidates should possess skills in Journal Entries (Accounting) and Accounting Software to manage daily accounting transactions and system-based processes. Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend solutions. Relevant skills such as knowledge of GAAP, account reconciliation, and basic tax concepts are beneficial. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools. Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
