Position Overview and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-focused care tailored to the specific needs of the department, adhering to the relevant state regulations and specialty standards. Working alongside medical professionals and other care team members, the RN offers personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care by employing established nursing frameworks such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." The RN acts as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's mission and values to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes, thereby contributing to the overall success of the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer procedures, monitoring, and other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring timely and thorough documentation of care in patient medical records.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up care, simplifying complex medical terminology for better understanding.
• Provide guidance on non-medical follow-up measures, including healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and self-management strategies for patients and families.
• Implement evidence-based practices and continuous improvement initiatives to surpass quality benchmarks and enhance the exceptional care provided to patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, assess, customize, and deliver a holistic treatment plan that fosters recovery and well-being.

Required Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or a Registered Nurse Diploma.
• No travel is required for this position.
• No prior experience is necessary.
