Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care tailored to the specific needs of the department, adhering to the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Working alongside medical professionals and other care team members, the RN provides personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." The RN acts as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure an exceptional patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.

• Administers procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring timely and thorough documentation in the patient medical record.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up care, simplifying complex medical terminology for better understanding.
• Instructs patients and families on non-medical follow-up measures, including healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and self-management strategies.
• Implements evidence-based practices and continuous improvement initiatives to surpass quality measures and enhance patient care.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic treatment plan that promotes recovery and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
