Job Summary The certified occupational therapist assistant works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) and works with students from ages three (3) to 21 who experience physical, mental, developmental, emotional, social, learning, visual, hearing, and/or multiple disabilities. Implements therapy programs, provides consultative services to school personnel, and functions according to this profession's philosophy, laws, rules, and regulations. New Hire Hourly Rate: Grade 11: $30.75-$34.50 DOE Internal Hourly Rate: Determined by the ESSA Negotiated Agreement Work hours: 7 hours per day Work year: 9 months Bargaining Unit: Education Support Staff Association (ESSA) Job Qualifications/Requirements (please review job description for qualifications and duties of the position): Must possess a State of Alaska Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
