Job Purpose At Harry Meyering Center (HMC), we support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living more independent, fulfilling lives at home and in the community. As a Part-Time Direct Support Professional, you’ll build meaningful relationships, help individuals explore their interests, and support them in reaching personal goals. With flexible part-time hours, paid training, and no previous experience required, this is a great opportunity to make a difference while gaining valuable experience in human services. Wage $18.00 per hour Perks Paid Training Competitive Benefits Overtime Pay Flexible Scheduling Schedule 8–29 hours per week Every-other-weekend availability required (Saturday and Sunday) Additional fill-in shifts and holiday coverage may be available or required, depending on program needs Shifts may include:

7:00 AM–3:00 PM

3:00 PM–10:00 PM

12:00 PM–4:00 PM

4:00 PM–8:00 PM

Other shifts based on program needs Location Multiple locations in North Mankato, Mankato, and Eagle Lake. What You'll Do Provide direct care for others in an individualized and meaningful way. Assist with personal cares. Engage in community activities, i.e., bowling, shopping, watching a movie or exercising. Complete daily direct care such as bathing, toileting, feeding, and dressing. Complete household chores such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry. Maintain HIPAA Compliance in all communications to HMC, whether written or verbal, external and internal. Follow all health and safety policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or general education degree. Willingness to learn. Ability to perform tasks with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team environment and independently. Good communication skills. Must hold a valid United States driver's licenseandpass a driving record check conducted by our insurance carrier unless otherwise noted. Must pass the MN Department of Human Services Background Study Prior experience or training is not required, but having experience as a CNA, PCA, Caregiver, DSP, or healthcare-related professional is preferred.
