IT Project Manager

Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr

The IT Project Manager will lead and manage application and data integration initiatives while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and technical requirements. The role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology projects using established project management and software development lifecycle methodologies. The candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to deliver projects on schedule while maintaining quality, compliance, and operational effectiveness.

Requirement/Must Have:

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and software development life cycle processes.
• Ability to manage complex IT projects in a matrix management environment.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills with cross functional teams.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
• Experience working with project and portfolio management tools.

Experience:

• Minimum five years of project management experience supporting application or data integration projects.
• Proven experience managing mid sized to large IT integration projects independently.
• Experience working in commercial insurance environments is preferred.
• Experience managing technology projects involving advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Perform day to day management of project phases to ensure deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
• Coordinate project activities with IT teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
• Track project performance against objectives and implement corrective strategies when necessary.
• Develop and maintain project documentation including charters, schedules, risk management plans, communication plans, and project budgets.
• Coordinate resource planning and collaborate with leadership to secure necessary project resources.
• Work with stakeholders to define project scope, schedules, and business requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts and architects to translate business needs into functional specifications.
• Provide regular status updates and maintain performance metrics for project transparency.
• Communicate project risks, progress, and strategic impacts to executive leadership.
• Ensure compliance with organizational audit and governance requirements.
• Identify and coordinate dependencies across multiple projects.
• Monitor emerging technology trends and evaluate potential impacts on project initiatives.
• Perform additional project related tasks and assignments as required.

• IT project management and integration project delivery.
• Agile, waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Stakeholder communication and cross functional team leadership.
• Project and portfolio management tools including Microsoft Project and collaboration platforms.
• Systems deployment and enterprise technology implementation.

Qualification And Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
