Project Manager Job Locations: US-NY-White Plains. Compensation: USD $185,000.00 - $295,000.00 per year. Qualifications Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business Administration (Accounting, Management or Finance), Construction Management or a related field. Equivalent experience in a construction‑related position will also be considered. 10 years of heavy civil construction experience in the New York metro area. Experience with alternative delivery contracts including CMAR, Design‑Build, CMGC, Progressive Design‑Build, P3, etc. is preferred. Must be willing to work on project sites located in the New York metro area and/or Northeast. Relocation and/or travel are required. Experience supervising multiple project engineers. Heavy civil construction background managing diverse projects including bridges, underground, transit, and other types of heavy civil infrastructure. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Safety‑oriented; 10‑hour and 30‑hour OSHA certificates are preferred. Strong work ethic – willing to do what it takes to get the job done. Ability to function as a team builder/player. Responsibilities Responsible for managing and directing the project team by providing the communication, coordination and follow‑up necessary to meet the project goals and objectives. Directly report to senior management. Provide ongoing project information and reviews as required by management. Coordinate training and compliance measures to ensure project procedures are followed. Ensure scope of work, schedule, and budget are clearly defined and understood by senior management and all project participants, including the client. Determine, control, and maintain overall project and discipline schedules and budgets. Track schedule and budget progress with project milestones and take all action necessary to keep the project on track. Identify and secure necessary approvals for all changes in project scope, budget and/or schedule. Maintain ongoing training and mentoring of the project team. Maintain ongoing communication with the client, making adjustments as necessary to comply with the client's needs within contractual obligations or adjusting project deliverables to meet the client and Barnard's needs.
