Labor and Employment Associate | Fully Remote, California | $230,000 to $300,000 This is a labor and employment associate job for somebody four to eight years in, working from home anywhere in California, and it pays $230,000 to $300,000. You'd be defending employers in class actions over wage and hour, in both state and federal court, with cases brought by one employee over discrimination, harassment or retaliation alongside them. The other part of the week is advice. A client wants to change how the sales team gets paid and would like to know before they do it whether it ends up in front of a judge, and you're the one they ask. Most associates at this stage are good at one of those halves and put up with the other, and this seat wants somebody who'd happily do both. You do have to live in California. There's a Los Angeles office if you ever want somewhere to print things.
