REPORTS TO: Food Service Supervisor

FLSA STATUS: Nonexempt

PAY RATE: $15.74/hour PAID THROUGH EDUSTAFF. Must be a current employee of Edustaff or willing to become an employee of Edustaff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Washing/preparing fruit and vegetables for service.
• Preparing, and plating food for our serving lines including breakfast
• Operating a cash register including daily cash out.
• Complete clean-up of serving line and lunch tables when serving is complete.
• General help in end-of-day clean-up, including dishwashing, sweeping and mopping of floors.

• 18 years of age and a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to relate well with students, staff, and others in a positive manner
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written form
• Ability to follow written and oral communication and comprehend instructive materials
• Basic math skills
• Ability to problem solve
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to handle more than one task at a time
• Must enjoy working in a team environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40+ pounds.
