Employment Type: Temp-to-HirePosition OverviewWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Transaction Processor / Lockbox Associate to support a fast-paced payment processing operation. This position involves processing incoming mail, checks, invoices, and payment documents while maintaining high standards for accuracy, productivity, and security.ResponsibilitiesReceive, sort, count, and distribute incoming mailOpen envelopes and prepare checks, invoices, coupons, and other documents for processingFollow detailed client instructions to accurately process high-volume transactionsScan checks and documents using high-speed scanning equipmentMatch check images with supporting documentationPerform basic data entry and mail-out processingMaintain accuracy while meeting daily productivity and deadline requirementsFollow security procedures, operational controls, and company policiesIdentify and communicate processing issues to managementMaintain a clean and organized workspaceAssist with additional operational or administrative duties as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; proof of education requiredStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamComfortable working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environmentReliable attendance and punctualityAbility to follow detailed written and verbal instructionsStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to adapt quickly to changing processes and prioritiesFlexibility to work additional hours when business volume requiresPreferred ExperiencePrevious banking, lockbox, payment processing, mailroom, or data entry experience preferred but not required10-key/data entry experience is a plusExperience operating high-speed document scanners is a plusPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit, stand, walk, and bend throughout the workdayAbility to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.Ability to manually open envelopes and handle checks and documentsComfortable working in a fast-paced, paper-heavy environmentAbility to use computers, phones, document scanners, and postage equipmentBenefits: (employee contribution) Health insurance Health savings account Dental insurance Vision insurance Flexible spending accounts Life insurance Retirement plan All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
