The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility in San Diego, CA. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join as a Electrical System Test Engineer (STE), a self-starter with familiarity working in an Integrated Product Team construct. The ideal candidate requires a strong background in all levels of system level testing as well as a Top Secret SCI clearance. The ideal candidate needs to have strong communication, collaboration, leadership, and team building skills. Successful candidates are comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced, aerospace team environment while possessing technical proficiency in analytical thinking, problem solving skills, and ability to interface across the different engineering teams.Please note: A start date, for candidates selected, will be determined after obtaining Special Program Access (SAP).Roles and Responsibilities will include:Working with System Test Engineers, Test IPT Leadership, Lab Operations Leadership, and Test Planning & Execution (TP&E) teams to successfully plan and execute scheduled test efforts.Utilizing the experience and testing knowledge gained in a lab setting to support full system-level testing.Communicating and collaboration with multiple levels of the organization including the program, leadership, teammates, and team members in other business units to meet the customer’s needs.. Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative team settings across all levels. We are looking for self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented people to help us grow our services and become even better at what we do.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 12 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 10 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related engineering experience.Technical experience in system test engineering and integration of aerospace systems.Experience in full program lifecycle flight hardware/software from conception through testing.Must have an Active DoD Top Secret SCI clearance (with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Program Access (SAP/PAR). Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
