Echo Technician Job Location: Mishawaka, IN Duration: 7-1630 / days / M-F Shift Schedule: On call - 1-2 nights/week Summary: Join our dynamic team in Mishawaka, IN, where you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality cardiac care. As an Echo Technician, you will work in a supportive environment with opportunities for professional growth and development. Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiograms to assess cardiac function and diagnose heart conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to provide accurate diagnostic information.
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment with proficiency and care.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
- Document and report findings to the appropriate medical staff.
- Certification in cardiac sonography (ARDMS cardiac/CCI cardiac sonography).
- Strong understanding of echocardiographic techniques and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
