Position Overview


We are seeking an experienced Go-to-Market / Program Manager to support the development and implementation of go-to-market processes for battery electric products and charging solutions . The role will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Tax, Legal, Compliance, Business Resources, Supply Chain, Commercial, Digital, and Purchasing teams to enable the introduction of battery electric products into specific global markets.


The position will primarily support Mining (RI), Rail, and Electric Power (EPD) and will collaborate with teams in Mossville, IL and Peterborough, UK .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement go-to-market processes for battery electric products and charging services.
• Work with cross-functional teams to determine market requirements and establish processes for introducing products into targeted countries.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to establish battery recycling suppliers .
• Partner with Regulatory Compliance teams to ensure commercial and regulatory requirements for Lithium-Ion batteries are met in targeted global markets.
• Develop supply-chain processes addressing title transfers, import/export requirements, and ownership of batteries and chargers .
• Research and scope the requirements necessary to bring specific battery electric products or chargers to market.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings and document required processes, actions, decisions, and responsibilities.
• Manage assigned actions and coordinate project activities across multiple functional teams.
• Manage projects according to schedule, timeline, and budget .
• Establish processes, define roles and responsibilities, and coordinate implementation/start dates.
• Provide regular leadership updates regarding progress, risks, gaps, issues, and roadblocks .
• Identify potential solutions and escalate issues that could impact project timelines or objectives.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and future phases of the program.
• Translate market and customer requirements into actionable requirements for cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience .
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Candidates with an Associate's degree and 12+ years of experience may be considered.
• Candidates with a Master's degree and 8+ years of experience may be considered.
• Previous Caterpillar (CAT) experience is strongly preferred/required .
• Experience working in complex, cross-functional organizations.
• Strong project/program management experience.
• Ability to understand and develop process flows and process maps .
• Experience translating business, market, and customer requirements into actionable plans.
• Strong understanding of cost evaluation and commercial terms .
• Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills, particularly Windows and Excel .
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across engineering, supply chain, legal, compliance, commercial, and business functions.
