We are looking for our next District Shift Leader If you want to grow your career and lead a bakery, this position is for you. District Shift Leaders participate in a targeted General Manager development plan and will be next in line to take ownership of a bakery when a position becomes available. What a day looks like Perform management duties at a home location and support other bakeries in the market as needed. Lead by example, serve as a brand ambassador, and coach and train teams. Join shifts as early as 3 am for bake and store opening duties. Ensure high‑quality food and beverages, and maintain a safe, clean store environment. Travel to learn from additional leaders and gain further independence. GM Development Plan Training in restaurant administrative duties such as inventory tracking, vendor orders, and cash management. Learn P&L analysis, food cost and labor targets, scheduling, and recruiting quality team members. What We’re Looking For Expect to fill in for General Managers at other locations within the market. Expect to accept a permanent General Manager promotion within the market when available. High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience preferred. Must be able to work varied hours/days, including early hours and weekends (starting as early as 3 am). Must pass a background check and possess a current, valid driver’s license. Must complete Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification program by the end of the GM development plan, unless already in possession. Hourly Rate $14.57 – $21.86 per hour Starting pay is subject to local and state minimum wage regulations. Ranges reflect what employer reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for such a position.
