Adjunct Instructor – Education/Learning Frameworks [Wise County Campus] Weatherford College occasionally has openings for adjunct instructors. Position Information Requisition Number: P0012814 Open Date: 06/15/2026 Open Until Filled: No Campus: Wise County Campus (20) Full-time/Part-time: Part-time Faculty Job Type: Part-time Faculty Title: Adjunct (General Education) Term: Other Responsibilities Teach courses in the approved discipline, providing instruction to facilitate student acquisition of specific learning outcomes identified for assigned courses. Mentor students inside and outside of the classroom. Create and maintain an effective learning environment in face‑to‑face, hybrid, online (Zoom), or dual credit instruction modalities. Engage in instructional preparation, including timely feedback and communication with students. Assess student performance and submit final grades in a timely fashion. Maintain ethical and professional behavior and treat all persons with respect, dignity and justice. Be available to students by appointment, attend adjunct faculty meetings, assess courses on departmental and institutional levels, and complete required training. Educational Requirements Earned Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline.
