Program Instructor - Fall 2026

At Camp For All, we continue to reshape and transform the world for our campers with special needs, disabilities and challenging illnesses by proving the impossible is possible! Program Instructors carry out the Camp For All mission by encouraging campers to try new things, think outside of the box, and offer them a sense of freedom. The Fall 2026 season begins with an in-depth training to equip instructors to facilitate traditional camp activities in an inclusive, barrier-free way. Activities include climbing, zip line, giant swing, horseback riding, barnyard/nature, target sports, photography, epic evening programs and aquatics. The typical work week for instructors runs from Wednesday to Sunday.

Participates in staff orientation and training for Camp For All programs

Exhibits the ability to manage an assigned program activity, including planning and adapting the activity to the camper’s special needs

Immediately corrects any safety infractions and/or reports such to supervisor

Maintains flexible work schedule with the ability to work extended hours as needed

The Program Instructor reports directly to the Program Manager.

This is a seasonal, exempt position. Shared housing is provided and maintained by Camp For All. Meals are included when groups are on site.

Internship credit or hours are available for many degree programs including but not limited to: Child Life Specialist, Recreation Management, Therapeutic Recreation, PRTM, and Youth Leadership & Development. Contact the Program Manager to see if we are able to support your internship requirements.

High School diploma (or equivalent)

Desire to work with the special needs population

Must be able to move equipment and/or objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, or more than 50 pounds occasionally.

Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift

Must be able to communicate effectively with campers, staff and volunteers to ensure immediate response to safety issues

Must be able to travel between activity areas across camp property in a timely manner sufficient to maintain supervision and safety coverage of assigned activities, with or without reasonable accommodation

Must be able to live independently and self-sufficiently in the provided housing
