Principal Customer Solutions Engineer

Providing technical leadership in mainframe modernization, the full-time Principal Customer Solutions Engineer will manage complex projects, deliver technology solutions, and conduct technical presentations while working remotely. Key responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of technical solutions for customer projects, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders Provide services to customers, including creating proofs of concept and assisting in the deployment of products Conduct technical presentations and training sessions for peer groups and contribute to technical forums Required qualifications 5-7 years of relevant technical experience in IT project implementations and customizations Experience with IBM Enterprise COBOL or PLI programming and system-level knowledge of IBM CICS, IMS, and JCL Familiarity with relational databases such as IBM DB2, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server Practical experience in mainframe application modernization projects and related tools/methodologies Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
