The ideal candidate will primarily focus on budgets, managing actuals against original budget plans and cost to come. This role offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to tackle challenging tasks and grow professionally.Key ResponsibilitiesCreation of initial project forecast from participation in the Sales to Contract Execution handoverPerform complex tasks in project estimating, change documentation, and cost controlMonthly and quarterly forecast preparation: reconciling budget versus actuals and analyzing variances, risks, and opportunity trackingReport to portfolio level on forecast variances and manage changes to cost on a monthly and quarterly basisAnalyze and track change requests/variation orders received from customersAssist with sales planning and billings to customersManage multiple projects with budgets ranging from $500K to $100MM+Collaborate with other departments to develop budgets/forecasts and review actual performance.Preparation of proposal and claim packagesRepresenting the Project Manager in their absenceRequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Engineering, or Construction Management.Experience in project controls, finance, and budgetingStrong analytical skills and experience with financial data interpretationExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesExperience with managing multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience in Government Contracting is a plusStrong computer skills with an emphasis on MS Excel (MS Excel, Access, Word, Project, SAP)Join our team and leverage your expertise to drive successful project outcomes and efficient financial operations.
