Job Description
Title: Vascular / Endovascular RN - Vascular Service Line

Schedule:
- Weekends: Every other weekend (unless specified otherwise)
- Call:
- Overnight call after shift: Approximately 2 times per week
- Regular day call: Approximately 1 time per month (totaling 13-15 days per month)
- Approximately 2 weekend call shifts
- Holidays: Expected to work 1-2 major holidays during the assignment; if 3 holidays occur, expected to work two.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Active GA or Compact license at time of submittal
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Experience with endovascular/vascular procedures (EVAR emphasis)
- Familiarity with endovascular toolsets preferred (CSI, Penumbra)
- Experience with charting systems: Epic (preferred), Pyxis

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing vascular/endovascular procedures.
- Assist in the preparation and management of vascular procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical status post-procedure.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and post-operative care.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: 40 hours (may vary by contract length).
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required.
- Full compliance required to start on time; non-compliance may delay start.
- Compliance document deadline: Tuesday prior to start.
- Two supervisory references (manager level or above) are preferred at submission.
