Contract | Days | Three 12-hour shifts Monday–Friday | Overnight weekday call 7p–7a | Weekend call 7a–7p and 7p–7a with backup 7a–7a coverage

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub in and assist surgical teams during operative procedures
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field before, during, and after surgery
• Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments and supplies during procedures
• Respond to on-call assignments including overnight weekday and weekend call shifts
• Ensure proper handling, counting, and documentation of surgical instruments and sponges

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred or required per facility standards
• Ability to work three 12-hour day shifts per week
• Availability for overnight weekday call and weekend call rotations
• Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterile technique

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a fast-paced surgical or perioperative environment
• Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties
• Ability to adapt quickly and perform effectively during on-call situations
