This is a unique opportunity to be part of a program with a rich history and strong institutional support, focused on educating the next generation of physicians while improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve. Our community-based, ACGME-accredited OB/GYN Residency Program has been a cornerstone of our educational mission since the 1970s. We welcome faculty members passionate about academic medicine, committed to evidence-based care, and enthusiastic about mentoring residents and medical students. Position Highlights: Accredited ACGME OB/GYN Residency Program with Osteopathic Recognition • 12 residents total - 3 per PGY year • 2,400 deliveries/year, 12 L&D rooms, 22 private postpartum rooms, 2 dedicated OB ORs • Precept residents in clinic, L&D, and the OR at Riverside Regional Medical Center - a 450-bed trauma center • Serve a diverse, medically underserved population • Access to an advanced Simulation Center to support surgical, procedural, and L&D skill development • Collaborate with a dedicated Program Director and a team of passionate core faculty • Robust partnerships with VCOM, VCU, and EVMS for medical student education • Ongoing faculty development and academic career support • EPIC links all inpatient and outpatient locations • Competitive AMGA-based compensation model • Full benefits package including paid malpractice with tail, CME allowance, PTO, and relocation support • Eligible for Federal Loan Repayment and additional loan assistance opportunities • Training stipend available for early sign-on Client Details Address 56 J Clyde Morris Blvd A City Newport News State VA Zip Code 23601
