PACU RN - Inpatient

Schedule

Must work 2 out of 3 holiday bundles: Thanksgiving & the day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, NYE & NYD. One weekend per month required. On-call is required for 1-2 overnight shifts monthly.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks, guaranteed hours: 36 hours/week, with a possibility of being called off up to 3 times.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience, including level 1 trauma and telemetry experience
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required
• Pre/Post Cath lab and Pre/Post IR procedures experience required
• Pandemic license accepted
• No locals within 100 miles

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in the post-anesthesia care unit
• Monitor and assess patient recovery from anesthesia
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed
• Communicate patient status with the healthcare team
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during recovery
• Prepare patients for discharge as needed
