Medical Assistant

Assist healthcare providers by preparing patients, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth clinical operations. This role supports patient care delivery and enhances office efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and room patients, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Manage patient calls, schedule appointments, and update records.
• Prepare examination rooms and assist providers during procedures.
• Perform clinical tasks such as collecting specimens or vital signs.
• Complete necessary documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA and EPIC training.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Medical Assistant (MA) credential.
• Demonstrate EPIC electronic health record system experience.
• Display excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday with flexible scheduling.
• Possess knowledge of medical procedures, HIPAA compliance, and confidentiality standards.
• Ability to start within a specified timeframe post-acceptance and pass required medical and drug screening.
