Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact supporting students of all ages as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in a highly collaborative school environment near Aurora, IL. This contract opportunity begins August 27, 2026, and runs through June 9, 2027. You’ll work full-time across multiple school sites within the district, ranging from elementary through high school. Each day brings variety and the chance to make positive changes in students’ lives as you travel between campuses supporting children from Pre-K through age 22.

What You’ll Need:

• Active clinical license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
• Active educator license from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
• Previous school-based experience is highly preferred
• Ability to adapt between school settings and work independently
• Knowledge of pediatric therapy techniques and IEP implementation
• Completion of required fingerprinting prior to start

Role Highlights:

• Deliver direct therapy services to students with a full range of needs
• Collaborate with teachers, occupational therapists, and school teams to support IEP goals
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and session notes
• Rotate between assigned schools to serve diverse age groups and developmental needs
• Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to student care plans
