Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

ProCare Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a school-based contract position with a school district near Elgin, IL. The director is ready to review resumes and interview candidates, so please apply today for immediate consideration!

Location : Elgin, IL

Start : August 2026

End : May 2027

Onsite, Full-time, K-12
You'll collaborate to assess student needs, develop and implement individualized plans, and work closely with educators and families.
Caseloads are managed in accordance with state guidelines, allowing you to focus on quality care and student progress.

Qualifications and Experience :

Current Occupational Therapy/COTA license in Illinois (or eligibility)
Pediatric experience required, school experience preferred
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong organizational abilities and adaptability to changing needs

Local candidates: You live in the area or are moving to the area permanently; you'll be paid an hourly pay rate weekly
Travel candidates: You are interested in temporarily exploring this area/position for the length of the contract (school year); you'll be paid an hourly pay rate and tax-free travel stipends $$ weekly to support your traveling expenses. We can also support with housing options too!
