Business Development Manager III - Financial Wellness Solutions

As a Business Development Manager III within PNC's Financial Wellness Solutions organization, you will be based in the East Territory. Responsibilities Set client acquisition strategies and direct new client sales activities across financial wellness solutions, focusing on growth in sales, revenue, and market share. Develop and drive strategies to acquire, expand, and retain client relationships, generating revenue and deepening share of wallet. Handle origination, financial analysis, negotiation, and documentation of non‑credit products and services. Manage risk/return and drive quality for new and existing clients, mitigating regulatory, reputational, and operational risks. Focus on client opportunities by providing ideas and insights based on an understanding of client needs and financial well‑being, driving engagement and loyalty. Maintain an effective network of senior internal and external relationships, such as community or industry relationships, to acquire new clients and expand existing ones. Leverage reporting and sales tools to identify and convert sales opportunities. Demonstrate ability to analyze, evaluate, and inform on complex financial wellness solutions, product knowledge, industry benchmarking, and positioning. Support the Relationship Manager (RM) book of business, working with assigned Relationship Managers to pursue opportunities with existing clients and targeted prospects within the Large Corporate, Diversified Industries Group (DIG), and Financial Institutions Group (FIG) segments. Position differentiated financial wellness solutions—including health and benefit accounts, student debt solution, earned wage access, and other workforce financial wellness capabilities—to senior decision‑makers and key stakeholders. Close new business and expand existing client relationships in partnership with internal teams. Build market presence through professional networking and collaboration with Centers of Influence (COI), brokers, and strategic partners. Travel within the East Territory to meet with Relationship Managers, clients, prospects, and partners. Preferred experience includes origination and closing of new business within professional services, manufacturing, healthcare, wholesale, or general services sectors. Qualifications 8+ years of industry‑relevant experience (or a comparable combination of education, certification, and experience, including military service). Higher level education such as a master's, Ph.D., or additional certifications is desirable. Compensation Base Salary: $80,000 – $179,400. This role is incentive eligible, with payment based on company, business, and/or individual performance.
