About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff to play a pivotal role in the organization's mission of mobility. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a culture of innovation and best practices in line with the company's vision, mission, and strategic plan. This includes shaping the strategic direction, driving results, and building strong alliances with external organizations and stakeholders. The Chief of Staff will also assist the Executive Director in identifying priorities, aligning time with strategic goals, and ensuring the effective implementation of business activities. Essential duties encompass project management, talent development, and maintaining a customer-first focus. The role demands a leader with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least 7 years' of leadership experience, and a proven track record in managing and leading staff. Applicants for the Chief of Staff position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, or a related field, with a preference for a Master's degree in management, strategy, or a related area. A minimum of 7 years' of leadership experience, including at least 3 years' in a management role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of transit system operations, technical approaches to facilitate goals, and a strong network within local organizations and governing bodies. Key skills include highly developed communication, analytical, and project management skills, as well as the ability to lead and manage staff, and to effectively respond to the media. The role demands a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The Chief of Staff must also be resilient, with the ability to work under pressure and shifting priorities, and be committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
