Payroll Coordinator

Atrium Centers

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for the overall process of the payroll for the department/and all of the Atrium Centers. This role is located at our Columbus, Ohio Corporate office and is in office Monday- Friday.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review time off requests, missing punch changes, and zero-hour reports.

Communicate with the centers regarding outstanding requests and missing hours prior to payroll file creation.

Process termination requests and create PTO final payout if necessary.

Record changes affecting net wages, for example, exemptions, insurance coverage, and loan payments for each team member to update master payroll records.

Prepare and process off-cycle payroll as necessary to issue time-sensitive paychecks.

Complete transfer of team members between centers as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Degree required and one year experience with payroll.

Experience with Excel and payroll systems; experience needed.

ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

Ability to work independently in a time sensitive environment.

Excellent client service and communication skills.

High attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct data errors quickly.

Professional judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
