$13 - $18 per Hour (Based on Experience)

Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Our client, a well-established law firm specializing in consumer collections and judgment execution matters throughout West Virginia and Virginia, is seeking a reliable and motivated Legal Assistant to join their growing team. Prior experience in a law office is preferred, but candidates with strong administrative experience and a desire to learn are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

As a Legal Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting attorneys and ensuring the efficient operation of the office. Your responsibilities will include:

✅ Assisting attorneys with incoming and outgoing calls, correspondence, and legal documentation

✅ Preparing, drafting, and processing legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail

✅ Communicating professionally with clients, courts, and other legal parties

✅ Coordinating filings, court-related matters, and legal communications

✅ Managing multiple priorities in a high-volume legal environment

✅ Maintaining organized records and ensuring timely completion of tasks

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and eager to contribute to a successful legal team.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a law office preferred

• Minimum of 1 year of legal, administrative, or office experience

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively

• Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality
