Credentialing Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare staffing industry, is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to join their team. As a Credentialing Specialist, you will be part of the Credentialing Department supporting the MSP facilities and vendor management teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Credentialing Specialist
Location: Amherst, NY
Pay Range: $20/hour
Shift: 1st Shift Monday-Friday
What's the Job?
- Support compliance with Joint Commission, Client, and SHC standards to ensure 100% compliance for all candidates on assignment
- Process compliance files according to corporate policies, client requirements, and relevant standards
- Facilitate and track onboarding paperwork, reviewing for accuracy and completeness
- Communicate with clients, affiliate vendors, and peers regarding candidate compliance status
- Maintain and update compliance records in databases, ensuring timely start dates and adherence to deadlines
What's Needed?
- Associates Degree and/or 2 years of equivalent experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with computers, vendor management systems, and Microsoft Office products
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
