Job Details Consultant (Full‑Time) – Private Equity Consulting. Start Date: Current or Fall 2026 (flexible). Eligibility: MBA 2nd year graduating in 2026 or recent graduates. Practice Areas: M&A Commercial Due Diligence, Pricing Strategy, Go‑to‑Market Strategy. Work Location: San Francisco, CA; New York, NY; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL (Hybrid). Company Overview Investor Group Services (IGS) is a boutique advisory firm helping private equity firms, strategic acquirers, and portfolio companies to assess investment opportunities across major sectors. Services include M&A due diligence, sell‑side industry analysis, growth strategy, GTM strategy, and pricing strategy. Role Overview As a Consultant you will quickly gain in‑depth market knowledge and build client management skills. You will lead small projects, supervise associates and deliver insights to private equity and corporate clients. Key Responsibilities Assess investment and growth opportunities for private equity firms and corporate clients. Conduct market sizing, competitive landscape, and growth driver analysis. Generate insightful presentations and executive level recommendations. Lead case teams of 1–4 associates and manage multiple workstreams. Communicate findings to senior management and clients. Desired Qualifications MBA (or equal experience) with strong analytical and research skills. Experience in consulting, private equity, or market assessment is beneficial. Excellent project management skills and ability to lead small teams. Strong quantitative analysis, presentation, and client‑communications. Ability to work in fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environments. Skill Development Consultants receive on‑the‑job training, mentorship, and frequent assessments. Hard skills: market modeling, competitive analysis, margin evaluations; Soft skills: presentation, team management, time‑management.
