About the Role

Hello, Bilingual School Counselors! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Bilingual School Counselor to support students in a Spanish/English dual language immersion school setting in Aurora, CO. In this role, you'll support students' academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success while fostering an inclusive environment that values bilingualism, cultural connections, and student well-being. You'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and school teams to provide meaningful counseling services and support student growth.

What You'll Do

• Provide individual and group counseling services to students in a bilingual learning environment
• Support students' social-emotional development, academic success, and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff to develop student-centered interventions
• Participate in student support team meetings and multidisciplinary discussions
• Assist students with conflict resolution, self-advocacy, coping skills, and goal-setting
• Conduct risk assessments and support crisis intervention when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and state requirements
• Help foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive dual language school community

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in School Counseling, Counseling, or a related field
• Valid Colorado CDE School Counselor License (or ability to obtain by start date)
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
• Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
• Passion for supporting bilingual learners and student success
• School-based experience preferred, but not required
