About the Role We are looking for a Full Time Surgery Scheduler to join our team What You'll Do Verifying patient eligibility and coverage Scheduling surgeries, hospital procedures, and pre/post-op appointments Discussing preoperative instructions with the patient, as directed by the physicians Obtaining all requested medical clearances, preoperative testing, lab and EKG results as indicated Additional duties as assigned What We're Looking For: Education: High school diploma or GED certificate, college (Preferred) Qualifications: Ability to preform multiple and diverse tasks with frequent interruption Working knowledge of medical insurances Experience: 1 year experience with physician group practice preferred EHR/EMR experience, NextGen preferred Experience as an MA, LPN, or RN a plus What We Offer Collaborative and friendly work environment Full coverage for Employee PPO Medical insurance 401k and Profit-Sharing Program Paid Vacation, Floating Holidays, Regular Holidays, Sick Time Employee Discount Programs Internal Mobility The pay range for this role is: 23 - 25 USD per hour (Sand Creek) 23 - 25 USD per hour (Redwood) Golden State Orthopedics and Spine
