About the Position

We are currently seeking a Board Certified Trauma Surgeon for a locum assignment in Washington. This is a great opportunity for a trauma surgeon looking for flexible night coverage in a busy acute care setting.

Position Details

• Specialty: Trauma Surgery / Acute Care Surgery
• Start Date: October 9, 2026
• Assignment Length: 6 Months
• Schedule: Night Shifts | 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Setting: Inpatient / Operating Room Coverage
• Patient Population: Adult Patients
• EMR: Epic
• Trauma Experience: Level II Trauma Center Experience Preferred

Coverage Needs

• Multiple night shifts available throughout October and November 2026
• No clinic responsibilities
• Inpatient trauma and emergency general surgery coverage

Requirements

✅ Board Certified in Surgery – Trauma experience required
✅ Active Washington License (required at time of submission)
✅ ACLS & ATLS Certification
✅ DEA & Washington CSR
✅ Minimum 2 years of experience
✅ Recent trauma and emergency general surgery experience
