Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Step-Down
Location Lubbock, TX | Short Term Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts, 19:00–07:00) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a Step-Down/IMC/PCU setting within a Level II Trauma Center at a short-term acute care facility
Maintain expected patient ratios of 1:4
Float between units as needed to support staffing across the department
Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
Adhere to facility dress code requirements: solid navy blue scrub attire for licensed nursing personnel
Utilize EPIC electronic health records — EPIC proficiency is a hard requirement for this role
Required Qualifications

Active RN license —

Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
Minimum of 1 year of Step-Down, IMC, or PCU experience required
EPIC proficiency required (hard stop)
Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submission; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard travel candidate; local candidates within 50 miles may be considered under separate terms
Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience working in a Level II Trauma Center environment
Comfort and flexibility with floating between units within the same facility or nearby sister facilities
Experience completing pre-start and orientation modules efficiently prior to assignment start
