Payroll Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to support our client’s payroll operations on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience processing payroll, and a solid understanding of payroll regulations and procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess biweekly, semi-monthly, or weekly payroll accurately and on timeReview and verify timesheets, attendance, overtime, PTO, bonuses, and other payroll adjustmentsEnter and maintain employee payroll informationProcess new hires, terminations, pay changes, and other employee updatesRespond to employee questions regarding payroll, deductions, taxes, and pay discrepanciesReconcile payroll reports and identify and resolve discrepanciesAssist with payroll tax filings and other payroll-related compliance requirementsMaintain accurate and confidential payroll recordsPrepare payroll reports and provide payroll-related information to HR and managementAssist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparationWork closely with HR and Accounting to ensure accurate payroll processingSupport special payroll projects and audits as needed
