CPA Bookkeeper - Houston, TXOur client, a well-established CPA firm is seeking a full-time full charge bookkeeper with experience serving multiple clients to join our team.The ideal candidate:Highly motivated self-starter who can multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage interruptionsKeen understanding of accounting systems and workflow and has the ability to design effective, efficient, and streamlined accounting workflowResourceful and good at problem solving and researching solutionsDetail orientedHas professional communication skills, both verbal and written, with clients and other team membersAble to manage time and work flow to prioritize deadlines and handle client emergenciesHas experience with servicing multiple businesses in a variety of industries including nonprofits and small businessesComfortable and confident to work independentlyFamiliar with working remotely and onsite with clients as neededAble to operating effectively and efficiently in a paperless/virtual environmentProficient with QuickBooks Desktop/Online. QuickBooks Pro Certification a PLUSExperienced in most accounting functions (data entry, reconciliation, financial reporting, journal entries, financial statement preparation, etc.)Familiar with common business filings (1099s, W9s, sales taxes, registrations, workers comp insurance, etc.)Works excellently and efficiently with Excel and is proficient with computers and software in generalA quick learner that can adapt to new technology and business modelsMUST have three or more years of Bookkeeping experience within a CPA/Accounting firmOur client offers full benefits including M, D, V, 401k and paid Parking and Gym Membership.Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Depending on experience
