Position Summary The Operations & Supply Chain Manager will lead operational planning, inventory management, logistics coordination, vendor management, and business process improvement initiatives across the organization. This position combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining operational excellence while identifying opportunities to improve systems, workflows, reporting, inventory management, and overall business performance. The role serves as a key partner to leadership and plays an important role in supporting both current operations and future business growth. What You'll Be Doing Supply Chain Strategy & Operations Management Lead demand forecasting, inventory planning, and operational coordination activities. Develop inventory and supply plans that balance product availability, business needs, and operational efficiency. Identify supply chain risks, operational bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement. Analyze operational data and trends to support business decisions and future planning. Partner with internal teams to align operational priorities with business objectives. Support the development of scalable operational processes that can support future growth. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence Evaluate existing workflows, systems, and operational processes and recommend improvements. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce operational challenges, and strengthen business performance. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics. Help identify, evaluate, and implement systems and tools that improve inventory management, reporting, planning, and operational visibility. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operational functions. Partner with vendors and service providers to improve operational effectiveness and service levels. Logistics & Business Operations Manage logistics and distribution activities to support efficient operations. Build strong relationships with logistics partners, vendors, and external service providers. Monitor operational performance and proactively address issues before they impact the business. Ensure operational processes support both customer satisfaction and business objectives. Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration Lead, coach, and develop operations team members. Partner closely with leadership on operational planning and strategic initiatives. Support new product launches and cross‑functional projects. Prepare reports, analysis, recommendations, and business insights for leadership. Collaborate across departments to improve communication, efficiency, and execution. What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications Business-level fluency in both English and Japanese. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, inventory management, or related fields. Experience with demand forecasting and inventory planning. Experience improving operational processes, workflows, or business systems. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting, data analysis, and business modeling. Experience working with inventory, logistics, ERP, accounting, or operational systems. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders. Experience managing projects and driving operational improvements. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting U.S. operations for an international organization. Experience implementing new systems, tools, or operational processes. Experience managing third‑party logistics providers (3PLs) or external vendors. Experience leading teams or mentoring employees. Experience helping organizations scale operations and improve business performance. Experience evaluating and improving operational strategy, workflows, and business infrastructure.
