Serving as the primary legal partner for vendor relationships and commercial transactions, the remote Counsel, Business Services will draft and negotiate contracts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide legal advice to support business operations. Key responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including vendor and technology agreements Collaborate with various teams to structure commercial relationships while managing legal and regulatory risks Provide day-to-day legal advice and support third-party risk management in vendor relationships Required qualifications J.D. degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing 4-6 years of relevant legal experience in consumer financial services or fintech Strong background in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts Understanding of consumer financial services regulations and their impact on commercial arrangements Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
