Job Description Job Description Our office works with businesses, organizations and entrepreneurs to help them navigate their business and plan for the future. We are seeking a proactive and self-motivated Database Specialist to join our office in the Phoenix area. This position is full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. What you will be doing: Support the organization in maintaining and monitoring the established Document Management System (DMS) which aims to improve receipt of client documentation, reduce the use of paper, and increase efficiency in the tax preparation process. Administer, maximize, and enhance the organization's DMS systems. Aid management in the day-to-day administration of the DMS system, and supports them in an effort to define, document, and implement DMS-related policies and procedures. Supports in planning, reviewing, and customizing the DMS application in order to meet the users' needs. Coordinates and participates in quality assurance and has high attention to detail. Adds new clients to the DMS system, tax program, and practice management application. Creates and maintains on-line files. Opens and closes out job in the practice management application. Makes changes and updates to files. What we are looking for: Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency. Strong Organizational skills Excellent research skills and the ability to dig into the details Strong analytical skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications Proficiency with Karbon, Lacerte DMS & SmartVault a plus! Prior experience in a Legal or Accounting Office a plus!
