Overview We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Kentucky, starting Apr 13, 2026. Job Details Location: Kentucky Start Date: Apr 13, 2026 LOA: 60 days Provider Type Needed: Emergency Medicine Physician Schedule: Day shifts (7a-7p) or night shifts (7p-7a), 10-15 shifts per month Responsibilities and Duties Provide emergency medical evaluation and treatment to patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries Work collaboratively with advanced practice providers and nursing staff Respond to trauma, cardiac, pediatric, and other urgent care situations Perform clinical procedures as necessary in an emergency medicine setting Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters Adhere to established protocols and guidelines to ensure patient safety and quality of care Additional Information Must have 3+ years of recent experience in Emergency Medicine Active Kentucky medical license required Required board certifications: Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Flexibility to work assigned shifts Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
