The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

The Mental Health Professional functions as a care partner with the Registered Nurse and Screeners to provide behavioral health care to a diagnostically/developmentally specific patient population. Under supervision of the Registered Nurse and Screeners, the MHA provides therapeutic interventions and treatments. Also responsible for unit support activities and clerical/administrative functions as directed.

As a key member of a High Reliability Organization, remain responsible for reporting identified clinical and non-clinical safety issues and stopping the line as necessary to ensure the safety of the patients, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in the helping profession or HS + 5 years of related experience in a psychiatric services setting required,
• Must successfully complete clinical training orientation,
• Annual BEST and BLS certifications,
• Must possess and maintain a valid NJ Driver's License
