Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. You will be responsible for addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping others.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday, in-person in Granite City at 1301 W First St., Granite City, IL 62040.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide accurate information regarding products, services, and policies.
• Assist customers with order processing, returns, and exchanges.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions using computerized systems.
• Conduct outbound calls to follow up on customer inquiries or feedback.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling products based on customer needs.

Preferences:

• Proficiency in English is required; bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
• Previous experience in customer support or service roles is preferred (but not required).
• Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate various software applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively in an office environment while managing multiple tasks.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure are crucial for success in this role.
