Registered Nurse (RN) | Intermediate Care Location: Indianapolis, IN Agency: Concentric Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified IMC RN in Indianapolis, Indiana, 46237! Job Title Travel: RN PCU/Stepdown (Nights - 3x12's) Location Indianapolis, Indiana Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a Surgical Progressive Care Unit (SPCU) with a 23-bed capacity Manage a patient population that includes cardiovascular, cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery patients Maintain safe patient ratios of 1:3 to 1:4 while delivering high-quality stepdown/progressive care Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using EPIC EMR Participate in weekend rotation (every 3rd weekend) and holiday rotation as required Float to other stepdown or PCU units within the facility as needed Required Qualifications Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) state licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in a stepdown, PCU, or progressive care setting Experience with CVPCU, cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery patient populations Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Preferred Experience / Skills Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system Prior travel nursing experience in a stepdown or progressive care environment Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a well-established progressive care unit with a structured and supportive team environment Guaranteed 36 hours per week providing schedule consistency throughout your 13-week assignment About Concentric Healthcare Staffing Founded and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Concentric Healthcare Staffing specializes in healthcare employment with an emphasis in nursing and allied health.
