Outside Parts Sales Representative

West Michigan International (WMI) and K&R Truck Sales, a locally owned group of companies, are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Outside Parts Sales Representative to join our team. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service in the truck dealership industry and fostering a culture of respect and appreciation for both our customers and employees. As an integral part of our team, you will work closely with the Parts Manager and General Manager to develop and implement strategies to achieve annual sales goals, sell truck and trailer parts, and deliver outstanding customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Selling medium and heavy-duty truck and trailer parts
• Explaining features, benefits, and warranty of parts to customers
• Prospecting for customers in a designated territory or assigned account list daily
• Responding promptly to customer inquiries with clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Building strong customer relationships and providing unmatched customer service
• Preparing quotes and proposals for customers
• Maintaining a complete customer and prospect database in the dealership's CRM system
• Achieving or exceeding sales goals
• Attending training and continuously increasing knowledge of full product lines

Qualifications

• Experience in the medium and heavy-duty truck industry preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Confident, positive attitude with a customer-focused approach
• Proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Office and web-based applications
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift, carry and move up to 100 pounds
